Dishonored appreciation and discussion thread.
Most solid art direction for a 3d game in the last 10 years desu (Half-Life tech similarities aside ok, it's not plagiarism if the same guy did it)
It looks good but I think they went a bit too heavy on the stylized character designs.
I think many look really good, often extra sleazy and gaunt. But some characters like the guards can look a little too Popeye for my taste.

Good luck with your thread, OP.

Meant to post this, here have two bumps on me.
Currently playing through it. Are there any more levels with rain in them? The atmosphere is so much better with rain.
I liked it a lot.
I liked the world and characters but I'm shit at stealth games so I played on easy and killed everyone

Definitely one of the prettiest games to come out in a while, really fun to wander around in. Mechanics could have been a bit more balanced though. On the whole, definitely hyped for Dishonored 2.

If you kill lots of people and be a general jerk you'll definitely get another rain level. But that's all I can say without spoiling much.

Deus Ex: HR had the best art direction from a 3D game in the last 10 years, but Dishonored is still pretty good

I like enjoyed thinking about the world and lore of dishonored than I did playing the actual game
Hope the next one is a lot more varied
I liked this game a lot. One of my favorites from the past 5 years or so. I think it's a bit underrated.
I fucking love this game. It's definitely on my top ten

It has it's fair share of problems, but I really really liked it. So much I played it twice, thinking about doing it a third time later, something i rarely do with new games nowadays.

Have you played Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches? 10/10 story DLCs about Daud, they're just as good as the main game, if not better.
