Buy the packpack from the merchant when you arrive to Ostagar and buy another one from the same guy as soon as you get back from the Korcari wilds. Those two are way cheaper than the other backpacks you can buy in the game and they do the exact same thing.
I also have this game on ps3. Why did I do this to myself. It's a fucking laggy mess! I bet xbox version is much better.
