STALKER games in general have amazing atmosphere. There's nothing quite like squatting in a campfire with your fellow Stalkers, and relaxing while listening to the somber guitar tunes.
Far Cry 2 could have had some really good atmosphere if it wasn't for the poo filter. Shame, really. But then again the entire game in itself is wasted potential so yeah.

Are you fucking serious? Those are "Heads up Display's," not "User Interfaces" you complete retard. A "User Interface" would imply direct contact with those statistical textures. A UI is a menu, or an inventory. A HUD is what is shown in those images.

The bosses were the best in the series. They each had several strategies you could do to take them on, unlike dark souls 1 where the only strategy is: keep hitting them hard and dodge their attacks until they're dead.

They felt the most significant though. Maybe because it was my first souls-game, but all the bosses seemed to me like they belonged right where they were.

Also the bosses still had distinctive themes back then, which is what makes DeS soundtrack so much better than any of the DaS' Soundtracks.

I'll never forget fighting Amygdala for the first time, since even though the fight was easy, the music and build-up to it with all the statues and the Lesser Amygdalas scattered about made it so memorable.

Demon's had great bosses. The community just changed and wanted every boss to be this "muh skill" shit which makes them really boring and keeps them from being grand setpieces that contribute to the atmosphere of the game.

That's why DSII had so many goddamned humanoid Knight bosses instead of cool shit. Tower Knight and Gaping Dragon were both piss easy but Jesus Christ were they cooler than Artorias or fucking Fume Knight.

I am not a huge fan of those three levels (This, Black Veletopia, and the Theater one) but all three of them have interesting ideas, just I feel done poorly.

The theater one is just meh all around, but I think the use of the sets was interesting.

Waterloo World was annoying as fuck to get everything, but the scale of it was really cool.

Black Veletopia was the best and worst of the three. It's art design was fantastic, but fuck those narrow streets.

I think Boston was the best city they have done, its scale was impressive despite killing my computer every time I went there.
