MA Arisen cos its the most fun vocation, and a good Mage pawn because they're so hard to find I may as well just make one myself.
Gonna just max out Strider first for Leg-Strength, get Sinew from Fighter, Articulacy from Sorceror and i've got the stats and augments all set. Ring of Resilience should make getting my builds up to scratch an easy thing and enough gold from BBI for Legion's Might, sorted.

Literally not hard at all to work a 500/400/500/400 A/D/MA/MD build so you can class flip to your heart's desire.
Half the skills for magick classes scale with a strength component anyway and gear is the most important thing for your stats besides.

Just a warning to souls players if you're expecting an open world souls game that is not what this is at all. The game is similar in the sense of art style, story, and a combat that seems like a lighter version of what dark souls combat is like but the overall game will not be a replacement. It's an amazing game and deserves all the respect it's been getting lately but DO NOT let yourself become over hyped. Learn all the basics and do at least one dungeon before you call the game shitty.

Enemies outside of BBI are so weak you don't need to min-max to effectively kill them.
An extra 100-200 attack/magic attack isn't going to make a huge difference.

While it's true that the main game isn't so hard, killing Grigori as warrior and then switching to sorcerer in post-game would make things even harder than the sudden spike in difficulty already is. Not to mention going into BBI as said character and having to obtain the needed BBI gear.
I think the mantra of "don't bother with stats at all!" gets thrown around a bit too careless.

The point is, if you go from level 1 to 100 as an Assassin, you have 600 attack. As a Sorcerer you have 200 attack.
That is only a 400 difference and this is the most extreme you'll ever see a stat difference. Realistically, the difference will be closer to 100-200.
That isn't a massive difference at all. By the end of BBI it's completely insignificant. Before that, it's only relevant until after you beat Grigori to before you find your first BBI weapon. Which is a whole... 20 minutes maybe.
It's not worth ruining your experience of the game just so for those 20 minutes you're a little bit more capable of killing things.
