An official staff said on the Steam forums there will be a way to filter players based on their controller preferences and create lobbies with only people playing with controllers and whatever. Basically the same that GTA Online does.

I don't think hackers will be a problems, most of them already lost interest in MGSV, like I get my FOB invaded practically every two day since the game released and I only got invaded by a hacker with Godmode once, and I won by stunning him and throwing him off of the platform. Also I'm pretty sure you can start a vote kick so whenever someone is abusing hacks you can just start a vote kick and he'll be kicked form the match.

That's fine, MOBAs are seen as competitive and differ from game to game, but this game won't be balanced because of mouse aiming. There's a one hit kill sniper rifle (if you hit their upper body at all, they're dead) that's going to be pretty hilarious with a mouse, not to mention other stupid shit like rocket launchers that will kill you within 10 meters of the blast.

mp isn't about dozens of maps. The fun comes from what's occurring within the map. Most mp games have 2 or 3 maps which get the most playtime, take dust2 or 2fort for example. MGO will do fine on pc. As for thinking the playerbase will quit because TOO HARD I GET KILLED A LOT no.

the peak traffic today for mgsv on steam was almost 8000 players, seeing as that many have been playing with no dedicated mp I don't think mgo will die quickly. There's more than enough people who are looking forward to it that there will be a lot of activity given the circumstances.
