What's an mmo where I can play a class focused around the use of a melee spear or lance? It's always been my favourite weapon, I've been peeking at ff14 with dragoons but I'm wondering is there are alternatives.

Why is it that a lot of asian fiction does feature lances a lot, but they're basically non-existant in western fiction, anyway?

Lord of the Rings online has the Warden class. Tank class with a spear and small shield. Also there's the Captian class which can heal/dps/tank and they use a halberd. Haven't played in a few years but both were loads of fun.
