I don't like grinding bullshit, but actually obtaining an item through mindless RNG effort is somehow more satisfying than just cheating.
The last time I cheated was in Terraria where I excused saving potential hours of RNG grinding as "Well I have the ability to do it, I just don't wanna spend the time". After cheating in those items I quickly started losing interest in playing the game, because it just felt pointless instead.
