I like to think the Spear of Justice is more of the source where theme motif expands from. In a way Undyne represents the monster society as a whole, their will to life and its subjugation under the barrier.
Also, when you slow it down, take away the tempo, the drive, it turns from a determined battle dance into fatalistic melancholia. Backtracking through the waterfall cave area and making the calls to Undyne is one of her biggest character-builders in the game. The reason why she's prone to anger is due to frustration of being forced to live in a cave.
Which leads a bit into her sexuality. I think it was crucial to story reasons for her to be a masculine lesbian. That unbending will to never accepting the inherent submissiveness of womanhood, being the receiving end in relationship and being tied down with pregnancy, it is essential for her character.

I'm going (almost) purely by song order when it comes to arrows. NGAHHH!! is 45, and Spear of Justice is 46. Very poetic reasoning though, anon.
Speaking of arrows, I should've used Undyne's spears as the arrows, may do that later.
