Actually, if you're getting an asian import from Play-Asia, you'll need a Chinese account. The Asian import and Japanese are different versions.

Speaking about the game... I dug up my old copy of DOAx2, and...
damn, this game did not age well. I mean, it makes sense when you consider there's a 10 year difference between DOAX2 and DOAX3, but still, the characters all look identical, and the character models from the last DOA game before DOAX2 look better.

here is what you do.
You use your profile, log into the japanese or the kong profile for the dlc.
Depends on the version of the game but if you are logged into that dlc profile and your profile you will be able to get that dlc but both needs to be logged into.
the best way to check that out is to friend yourself on that dlc profile.
