When I had a ps3 uncharted 2 was amusing. But I honestly cannot recommend them to others as good games. The 3rd game I felt suckered by, none of the story elements felt cohesive and it was just moving the game set piece to set piece with random nooks in the way.
Everything about LoU felt so easy because AI never reacts to Ellen Page.
I am bored with both titles, I really just want them to make some different games.
Because if I wanted to watch movies I'd watch movies.

Because they're phenomenal with TELLing storybook tales. And Uncharted is exceptional with TELLing adventure serial-type stories in the medium of games by giving control for a majority of gametime and diversifying the gameplay through environments, setpieces, amount of abilities, etc. It's simple but still requires skill.
Have you beat the games on Crushing? Enemies are bullet sponges, they just have heightened a.i. and you take more damage. Also, Uncharted 4 looks to be impoving everything by bringing more depth to the characters and evolving the level design to be more adaptable, natural and open. Watch the e3 demo again and pay attention to the details.

The first shit I didn't like in that game and what was breaking my immersion was that a GROWN FUCKING MAN, that seems to be in a good enough shape, can't jump up/down what looks like 2m fences without a help of little girl, WHO BY THE WAY can give him a hand and pull him up, that said fence. Then, the AI of NPC (whatever you want to call them) is pretty bad. They stand around while you sneak. They are invisible to the enemy. Enemies, who have weapons, don't drop JACKS SHIT when you kill them, even tho that they were shooting at you with a rifle just a second ago. You can say about this game whatever you want, but FOR ME, this was a shitty experience. Oh, and where are the FUCKING KNIFES in this game? What the fuck happened to all of them? That black NPC dude has a knife, but you only have a glass shiv.

OP here. it was more cohesive and well-told. uc3 had better setpieces by far but a lot of characters were sidelined, barely developed, or had muddled motivations. also, the gameplay itself didn't bring too much new to the table. but me personally, what made uc3 a beauty was the added layer of depth it added to the characters and their relationships. for me that and ambition of the game itself was worthy enough to consider it a fantastic game.

I thought the combat in TLoU was good and that the multiplayer was great, but during the SP it was broken up too often by boring walking and talking sequences and annoying puzzles (ladders/pallets). The progression in The Last of Us is really arbitrary. Joel and Ellie's relationship develops completely offscreen, and Ellie especially does not feel like a real person. I though that was intentional since she was raised in captivity more or less and Joel is a damaged psychopath but I can't chalk it up to anything other than poor writing. None of the side characters were memorable or added anything either, except for the creepy guy in the blizzard.
As for the gameplay, it's got a really simplistic stealth system and the Uncharted run-n-gun+platforming+setpieces works better than stealth+ladders.

Honestly the gunplay that makes up 90% of the game is just terrible. There are also many many tedious enemy encounters with the fat guys with armor and shotgun. The guns don't have any punch to them, enemies are giant bulletsponges, the movement of Drake is floaty and the "climbing" gameplay where you're just glued to a surface and spamming forward and x to advance is about as unengaging as things go.
The story and graphics? Amazing, you can actually show this game to someone who doesn't play games and feel like they won't cringe.
But the actual GAME part? It's not great.
