OH SHIT NIGGA It's one of these threads, post the betrayal and twists that roundhouse kicked you straight out of your fucking chair when they happened. Pic related, this skank fucked me over in Murdered: Soul Suspect
That twist was really lame. I was hoping for one particular killer and trying to find out which one but nope lol everyone is the killer cause they get possessed.
Lame.

I liked it. Better than Baxter being the killer cause he was a dick to you when you were alive.
Plus you didn't see it coming seeing as a guy killed you
I liked all of the twists in VLR.
Especially thatyou are Zero.
>>322749616
Well played, TRAITOR
>>322749620
I thought it would be Rex out of his own will and was like hell naw, Bro v Bro-In-Law showdown
>>322749305
>skank (male)
>>322750353
skank is a female term friend
>>322749305
These fucktards from Dishonored. Didn't even consider the possibility of being screwed over.
>>322751624
I honestly think Dishonored is a heavily underrated game. Played it through 2 times, loved it both times.
>>322751870
I have almost 200 hours into it, played campaign and Daud's story countless times.
H Y P E for sequel this year
Mandatory.
I'm not sure whether to count this as a good twist or a bad one because on one hand it takes you completely unprepared but on the other hand it's never foreshadowed in the slightest.
>>322751624
It was such a well done twist until the very end. Once you get back to the pub after killing the Regent, everyone is supposed to be happy and the game is meant to end, but then the music slows down and sounds ominous and you can tell straight away that the game doesn't end there.
I feel the twist would have worked much better if it didn't give you that wavy screen overlay to basically shout that the drink you just had was poisoned.
>>322753735
It was subtle, so effective imo.
Low Chaos ending was shit because I wanted to kill them all myself :(
Post some shit-tier betrayals.
>>322751624
Because of the games length at the time of killing the Lord Regent, it was very obvious the game wasn't over.
>>322749803
Very true; plus you were the one who killed one of the little grillz.
It was a good game, I liked it.
>>322753863
Don't get me wrong, before you kill the Regent, I had no idea that they'd betray me, but once you get back from the Regent's assassination, you can just tell something is wrong straight away.
It was like a warning that a plot twist was coming.
Man, what a cunt.
Would have won too if it wasn't for asspulls
>>322751870
>heavily underrated
>got BAFTA-awarded for best game
>and numerous nominations
it's overrated. the game wasn't that good anyway, gets boring in the middle.
a bit of an opposite situation, but I fully expected Sinclair to fuck me over in Bioshock 2. Especially considering we find out he's done some real shady stuff
>>322754748
That realisation was deep ngl, would play again.
WHO SAW THIS NIGGA COMING
>>322755874
Poor based Sinclair.
>>322756085
Reee
>>322756351
fuck you old man
>>322751624
The coolest part is you get a bunch of hints at how they are shit heads so it's not out of left field.
>>322754027
Man, that takes me back. Also, it's pretty funny that you get to see the Hylden only in the game that is considered most irrelevant to the main story.
>>322756085
I sure as shit did. All his interruptions in the investigations and his overinnocence just made him suspicious.
Knowing Ace Attorney, if a character seems like they're very innocent or they have a really high social standing, and you haven't uncovered some kind of secret about them when you're halfway through the case, they're the real culprit.
>>322756827
As with any game, you always pick up more hints on the next playthrough
>>322757135
I thought it would be Ambassador Palaeno, that guy was shifty af since the get-go
>>322753218
came to post this
what a fucker
This one was great.
Unfortunately they kinda ruined it by putting SHODAN's mug on the fucking box.
>>322755869
What a dick.
"That's just what you wanted to hear, isn't it!?"I had put my controller down to just get some other movement in my goddamn hands when that happened and it freaked the shit out of me
>>322756962
If they had made a good game, people would have accepted it as part of the canon.
>>322762298
I thought the main complaint was that the story was so far removed from the rest of the series and some of the characters acted weird.
Atmosphere was pretty great and the combat system was easily better than SR 1 and 2.
What were people's complaints?
>>322758559His death made me way more sad than it should have
>complete asshole
>LITERALLY NAMED DIO
I didn't expect it because he literally so fucking suspicious from the get go that I thought "he obviously must not be the secret asshole of the group"
>>322755615
More like Brad betrayed them.
