you have card with power which is a number. Each one also has a position. Which doesnt really matter except for weather and horn cards. What you do is basically play chicken. Turn for turn you put down a card with certain power. What you want to do is get 2 victories. You do that by getting a card advantage. Ideally you want to lure the enemy into either stopping playing too early so you can scoop up the round cheaply or lure them into putting down too much and then throwing the round with only losing very little cards. No important is the strength of your deck and this is most easily fixed by going to every innkeeper and buying out their cards. Then play random people (merchants) and you get 1 random card from them. In each deck make sure to put in all the spies (the extra power is far outweighed by the fact you get 2 cards back which allow you to outlast your enemy). Later you get amission in the city from the dwarf which nets you some great cards. Then do the quests of special enemies and you can get better cards. Then you are so strong you just rape everyone. Early on folding one game to see their deck build is handy. If they are full melee get a lot of ice cards to fuck them
