So this guy just beat OoT on literally a blind run

http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/4/10707382/zelda-ocarina-of-time-beaten-blind-gamer

>Where most gamers can simply look at the screen to see where to go next, Garrett had to use the game's sounds to orient himself, keeping track of his character in an entirely 3D space. Using speakers situated on the left and right of his chair let him work out where audio was coming from.

>Particularly important in Garrett's playthrough was the use of the hookshot — a Zelda mainstay that fires a retractable chain — as a form of echolocation. When Garrett fired it against a wall, he'd hear a telltale clang; if he fired it into thin air, it would reach the end of its tether before returning to his hand, spooling backwards with a different noise.

Not that hard, really. The sound design and 3D positional audio, along with lock on makes it possible to blind run most bosses in DaS1.

You'd need a SHITLOAD of shiny stones in some areas to find the floor.

Yeah, by people with vision who have seen the game before in their lives and can visualize what they're doing as they play. As well, they practice without blindfolds on.

What about things like the Like-Like that falls from the ceiling in the Spirit Temple, it can trow you in any direction.

How did he know they were there in the first place? How did he find the hookshot? How does he even make it to Saria?
