DDD improved the bosses drastically, but it sacrificed control for faster gameplay. They only sped it up by putting half the game on-rails with the flow system. Not that anon though, so I don't know whether I'd put DDD above BBS or not (neither belong anywhere near the top though).

I've put off playing kingdom hearts ever since I saw the trailers for the games a decade ago
But KH1 has aged like milk and is pretty weak due to its platforming segments, repetitive combos, weaker music, and shitty camera.

It's faster than both BbS and DDD (especially BbS, holy shit), had all kinds of varuety with commands (and how they could combo into normal attacks), Keyblades, Finish Commands, the Clock gauge

Gee Anon, did you have fun grinding every single fucking command, ability, finisher, and collecting all of the treasures, shotlocks, and stickers, playing all of those mini-games, and fighting all of the wonderfully balanced and well-designed superbosses, right? What about when you had to do it three times over, or six times because you didn't start on Critical? After attempting to 100% this shitshow, you begin to realize how awful Osaka's version of KH combat truly is. Birth by Sleep is a great KH game, but nowhere near the polish of 1 or 2.
I'll never understand the appeal of this series. I'm a huge FF fan, but I just cannot get into KH. It's not bad, just not for me I guess.

Sometimes they go off-schedule for events and stuff.
Unchained is a little less scheduled, but typically it's the second and last Thursdays.
I think this month is the last one with two story updates.
