First time around I played in Pain Mode because I had no idea what that was.
My party was Birdie, Mad Dog and Fardy for most of the game, but Birdie got stolen by the Sunset Bikers and killed, so I had to replace him with Buffalo for the endgame.
I played a second time on normal just to fully explore the game and see all the shit, and I gave myself the challenge of keeping Terry, Nern and Olan as my party members for the entire game. I'm glad I did, because it made for the most tearful ending.
