All videogames are fun/supposed to be fun. It's a meaningless word when talking about quality of the game.
Comfy while still being a buzzword at least cant be used towards literally every game you are enjoying. It requires specific qualities.

If I don't like RTSes, telling me they are fun or comfy won't convince me that I'm missing out on something or that they aren't actual piles of dogshit (mind you this is an example, I'm not trying to start anything), whereas if you told me why they are fun or comfy or good or any other vague subjective conclusion, I'd be more inclined to chalk it up to different sensibilites. A more substantial argument like "this RTS is good because there are multiple viable tactics that reward clever strategizing while this one is shit because it just broils down to rushing and spamming infantry and all the other mechanics of the game are bells and whistles." Do you see how saying "this rpg is fun and this one isn't" conveys no meaning to the one who doesn't agree?

when I was a wee lad, I had fun with sonic adventure 2. Not just some fun, I had a blast and remember it fondly now even though when I replayed it last year it was quite possibly one of the worst games I've played since childhood. If someone were to say it's not a shit game on the basis that it's fun, they'd be the ones worthy of pity
