Now, more on topic, Megaman X5. Could've been great, but they pussied out on the story climax for the sake of the Zero series (which was good, but still), the time limit aspect sucks, animation is terrible compared to X4, and Alia interrupting every five seconds to warn you about hazards makes it a damned chore.

Fucking this. My Vita has literally been my most-played console last year (own a Wii U, 3DS, and a PC), and I've probably only played through about ~15 exclusives in 2015.
It seems pathetic, but having games on the go and in the comfort of my own bed has been a MAJOR plus for me, and it's a far more enjoyable console than I could have anticipated.
Right now I'm playing through a bunch of old PS1 JRPGs that I've missed out on, and it's definitely been the most fun I've had last year (besides Undertale).

That's odd anon. I actually didn't care much for p4g, but i understand it's a very polished game. I felt like the dungeons were shoehorned into the game, and infact i preferred the mechanics of conception 2, because atleast you could insta wipe weaker monsters.
Personally i fucking love vanillaware and gust games, but also the otomate vns. Moe chronicle was fucking amazing as well.

Heck, the dual analogs was made with MonHun in mind, better camera controls and shit. It's why many clones try to fill the hole MonHun left behind. Only 'clone' I enjoyed was SSD.
Way it is now, there's not even a single successful established franchise exclusive for the Vita and that's not gonna change anytime soon.
I do enjoyed mine however. Currently grinding through Disgaea 4 while staying comfy in bed.
