Genesis actually had a ton of hidden gems. Even though I had one as a kid I didn't realize how many awesome games there were until I revisited the library in my early 20s.

I liked how X8 fixed Axl and tried some new things. X3 giving you the ability to change the castle bosses was neat, but Zero was wasted and the game doesn't have the same pop as the first two. One impressed me and one disappointed me, that's all.
