Isaac just felt like a shitty (darn) experience, shooting tears around in super slow motion felt like I was playing some lame-ass flash game.
The rooms were also samey as fuck.
STALKER has god-tier atmosphere but I didn't like the gameplay at all, and it completely lacked remarkable characters which ruined my chances of feeling invested in the story.
