I love the series, but it's had its stinkers.
Both are generally fast paced shooters, but since they play so differently it's not really fair to compare them with gameplay.
R&C will be better written though. The duo play off one another really well, and the Starfox team doesn't really have that much chemistry.

I know it's a reboot but when the original game haven't even come close to finishing the story it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The only thing that could save it is the ending reveals Quark got all the details wrong in his flashback.
