Very fun, surprisingly deep mechanics and would recommend for $45 (while it's still on sale), especially since the devs promise a good amount of content for free
HOWEVER bugs out the ass and abysmal netcode

It's fun, not too tacticool, pretty large learning curve, and as long as there's a community I'll keep playing. Having way more fun with this than most fps games out now.

Basically what I've been doing but I camp as far as possible from a breach sight while still being indoors.
The plane map just has way too many angles where you have to sacrifice an attacker because you can not engage them at range and their shotties are way better. At best its a trade.

They rushed it out the door in time for Christmas so the netcode is ass, gameplay itself is hella-fun though.

I played a particularly bad game of casual a few days ago. I was defending on the stairs on Kanal and turned around to see Ash just looking at me. I instantly blew her head off with my shotgun but she realized I was an enemy at the last second and downed me. Then two of her teammates crouched past me going up the stairs, didn't even look at me, idiots probably thought I was dead. What makes you mad in those games? For me it's when my teammates are bad. I don't mind losing as long as the team put up a good fight. I don't recommend buying Siege if you're playing by yourself because randoms don't use mics and are shit at the game, but playing with friends is amazing. It actually feels like you're properly breaching and clearing a building.

I disagree. You can hear or see all the electronics in the game. You can hear C4 and jammers, and you can see Bandit's shock batteries. Thatcher is infinitely more useful than IQ, all he has to do is chuck an EMP grenade and every piece of electronics in a 10 meter radius is out. Thatcher and IQ should have been combined into one operator, but as it stands IQ's ability is 100% useless if you have Thatcher on your team. And every good team has Thatcher.

I love the game, have been playing it non-stop since day of release. It does have its problems though.
1. Most maps are shit in my opinion (few good maps, House, Consulate are my only favorites)
2. You unlock all the operators and attachments too fast, and also not enough attachments/guns. (After unlocking everything you just don't have anything to look forward to.)
3. Idk what it is, hitboxes, server lag, etc, but some times people die in the most bullshit ways (i.e keeping killed when the person was shooting at air)
4. A good bit of the operators are useless and boring.
5. Servers are shit, que times too long (especially ranked)

They have no official number, 25k was a number that was thrown around since by their data people play this much, you get this much renown per match and there is 3 months per operator releases.
I think 25k is what it will be, you get like 8k from the situations and by the time they are released it will have been over a month since launch to get up renown

Some of the Hostage defense maps are piss easy if you pick the right room, others are near impossible (brb hole in the cieling directly above hostage)
Realistic is the only real way to play THunt, otherwise people just Rambo through maps non stop. Problem is people get to Realistic and still Rambo, so most of the time you're 3/4 instead of the full 5 since some idiot is sure to die quickly.

There is some glitch going around where you can phase through walls like a ghost. This happened to me today. Some guy playing as sledge walked right through walls and killed everyone. I noticed the whole team was doing it. That is a pretty shitty glitch that I hope doesn't spread or get patched soon. this was on ps4 btw
