Are there any Star Wars games where i can play in pic related?

The prequels weren't that bad, you were just too young to understand them or too old to like them
>>
>>322487060
We can all agree that the non-anakin parts in 2 were good and that 3 was the best of the three
Only good thing about 1 is pod racing and the droid army technology
That gungan/droid war scene could have been really cool if not for jarjar
>>
>>322487060
No, the prequels were shit. Stop lying

>>322488796
yeah, I just rewatched Ep 1 and felt like i needed to see more of the whole planet, i really think it was one of the best settings in SW universe, too bad both movies and games are trying to pretend the prequels never existed.

Nicely memed, my friend.

Really enjoyed it.

Which non Anikin part did you like best? When Obi-Wan visits a 50 styles cafe to see his buddy Dexter Jetster?

The prequels were really bad movies
TFA is a good movie, not really terrible.
It's kinda amazing gow people try to praise the prequels just to hate the new movie.
>>
>>322490589
yooo i played this, back when games came in cd cases
>>
>>322488665
I really put them at the same level of TFA, they are both inferior to the original trilogy, and both are hit and miss at many things. The prequels are not great movies but the plot is not borrowed from the OT, unlike what TFA did.
>>
>>322487060
Yeah. Being too young was from age 1-5 and being too old was from age 4-death. The movies were shit.
>>
I just came in to say that I really like Episode III. I fully agree with all of Plinkett's points about the movie (plot inconsistencies, stupidity of the Jedi and characters, Palpatines overly elaborate master plan, the assembly line style scenes etc.), and I know it can be a little 3edgy5me at times.

But I just can't help but enjoy it despite its many faults. Idk, I don't even think Lucas had anything to do with it being good. I feel like the people involved helped reel the movie in some after the travesties that were the first two prequels. It felt like a solid effort on everybody else's part save for the director.

Or I'm just retarded I guess.
>>
>>322490829
>You can only like TFA if you hate the prequels!
Why we can't like both?
>>
>>322487060
>The prequels weren't that bad

As someone who enjoys the prequels more than others I can say that your statement is half true. Phantom Menace had everything there to be a decent film but it just kept slipping up over and over, Clone Wars was cringe worthy save for everything on Kamino, and Geonosis. Also killing off Jango that soon was a crime pure and simple. The 3rd is the strongest but it didn't focus enough on the corruption and fall of the Jedi, the temple scene happens completely off screen when it should have been THE major act of the entire movie. There's plenty to enjoy in the films but they're just worse than the OT which was made 30-40 years before.

To answer your question, try the Lego Star Wars or Battlefront games.

>>
>>322491159
I don't mind the prequels, but I'm rewatching them and Anakin is fucking unbearable. The whiniest cunt in all of cinema
>>
>people complaining that Ep VII stole 4's plot
Well, no shit. The aim of this movie was to pay respects to the old movies while at the same time pushing it into something new. Too bad that means that 7 will probably be the weakest of the new trilogy.
>>322491035
I feel ya. The movie was overall terrible but the fucking Sheev memes and seeing the Republic crumble and morph into the Empire was pretty sweet.
>people that say Sheev's plan was overly elaborate
They would probably die if they touched the EU.
>>
>>322491534
There's a difference between paying respects and apeing the entire plot.
>>
>>322491631
And it still managed to stay mostly its own thing outside of the general plot. The movie was more about introducing characters and building them rather than the actual plot of the starkiller base. It's obvious as fuck that that planet meant absolutely nothing. 7 is a setup for the other two movies.
inb4 it's not as wholesome and good as 4
I can agree but 4 was also meant to be a single entity and later had sequels that expanded on it.

>>
>>322488469
The problem with them was that all the acting ranged from mediocre to awful. I'm not saying the OT was much better in that regard, but it becomes a a huge issue when the films try to become character dramas, which is entirely driven by acting. Otherwise the prequels would be okay from a literary standpoint.

Yeah, that was stupid and they could have easily blasted it with almost no extra effort.
The first Death Star was pretty shit in general.

>24 hour recharge time
>relatively few defensive turrets
It was basically Arsenal Gear but in space. It was also the first of anything like it and of course it would have some stupid flaw because plot. At least the second Death Star, had it not been shit on, would have fixed all of those problems tenfold.
>why are clone troops with very little battle experience bad?
Gee, I don't know, anon. Their threat was in their near infinite numbers, which was ironically the threat of the driods as well but the stormtroopers were at least semi-competent.

Jesus christ how much of a prequel apologist do you have to be.
Anakin literally saved a planet and blew up a blockade that experienced fighters couldn't even get close to, not to mention he somehow manages to fly the vessel perfectly when he said like 2 minutes before he didn't knew what the fuck he was doing and he didn't knew where the controls were AS A FUCKING 9 YEAR OLD.
In that same movie watto also deals with a jedi that he KNOWS that can change shit up and yet he tries to fucking USE DICE AGAINST HIM.
And then that same kid wins a race that he never ever won or even finished out of the blue WHEN HE WAS SABOTAGED just because it happens that race was more important and he didn't even knew why.
Not to mention all the RLM shit, no, just because it's RLM doesn't means it's not valid anymore, a flaw is a flaw, why the fuck kill jedi with super slow poisonous gas, what if they were not jedi?
Why open the gates if you were WAITING FOR THE FUCKING GAS?
And that's just the first movie.

And fucking newsflash, things have to happen on a movie to progress, not everyone acts perfectly not in a movie and sure as fuck not in real life, fuck ups are expected.
What's not expected is a 9 year old being kid jesus and the head chiefs of a multi planet trade federation being completely retarded on all senses.

Unlike their predecessors, the majority of stormtroopers were non-clone recruits. Imperial cadets were shipped off to Imperial Academies, and subjected to rigorous training programs in order to produce highly trained shock troopers fiercely loyal to the Empire.

A lot of things look good for the next movie.
Finn learned to be not a stormtrooper and has a lot of potential as a character, Rey might actually pick up the slack and stop being the weakest member of the new cast since she's done mentally flip-flopping about whether the force is scary or not, and Ben is more visually threatening and is set up for much conflict with himself and other characters. I hope JJ doesn't fuck up with the potential he has right now.

Unlike Vader who looked threatening just by being, he tried his hardest and still didn't succeed. He made himself a mask because Vader had one, he wanted his own menacing voice. But, ironically enough, they just made him appear compensating and tryhard

Essentially a school shooter when you think about it. It's laughable how they try so hard to look menacing, yet when they whip out that gun you will shit your pants. A misguided, conflicted man

Well, Count Dooku was a former Jedi was actually trying to save the galaxy from the Sith, who he knew had already taken over the senate, even though he had to use some Dark Side to do it. He literally did nothing wrong and was smarter than Yoda.

Pretty cool character, but I guess since he doesn't have a Boba Fett jetpack he's not "memorable".

>you were just too young to understand them
these movies where mean for kids like seriously fám
>>
>>322505106

No, unfortunately. But I know the open-endedness of how you make your character. I'd like to play a Star Wars MMO and I am sure as hell not play TOR.

>>322505649
idk senpai I was 9 when TPM came out and couldn't understand shit thanks to all the political bullshit going on

>>322497790
I'm pretty sure he was forced to not stray too far from his OT pieces.

After Plinkett reviewed them I can't take your claim seriously.

Finn didn't learn shit.
He was taken from his family, who were more then likely murdered in front of him or sold as a slave ala anakin skywalker and mentally tortured and beaten and indoctrinated till he was a mindless willing weapon AUTOMAGIC from a young age. The world of being a storm trooper is all he knows.
The personality he displayed is motherfucking retarded.
How he changed from being a storm trooper makes no fucking sense when you realize that he murders HUNDRED of fellow innocent storm troopers all while smiling like a fucking retard and screamingf WOOO and shit.

The nigga should have less personality then kurt russel from soldier and be as physically altered as master chief. He should barely speak and act as if he's stuck in the mindset of being a soldier/prisoner.
Only with Rey's help and being with other humans who weren't living weapons or the hierarchy does he begin to grow or even remember who he was before the empire took him.
Him breaking free because he's a force sensitive and the massacre on jakku jogged his memory should have been it. The bloody handpring on his helmet should be his fucking thing.
That kind of character, the gun toting super soldier bad ass...
THAT would have made him into an instant boba fett/tartakovsky clone trooper and giving him that black light saber and some force powers? Shit dude.

Rey is a fucking mary sue. The kind of mary sue that women in the real world detest and leave scars on the psyches of little girls and adult women who should know better. The kind that creepy dykes who hate women men and society push in a scorched earth campaign that fucks over everyone.

Her being a normalish scavanger girl who uses the force sparringly because she's hiding from someone and to keep max vansandow from gettig on her ass about it would have been great. Him teaching her how to use the force in ways that are subtle so as to hide in plain site and fight or escape would have been better.

Obi-Wan was the only good thing to come out of the prequels besides the animated series.
>>
>>322490356
Shit dude, I enjoyed all of Obi-wan's investigation, even that dumbass youngling mumbling to Master Yoda.

>Not liking the scenes of the Grand Army of the Republic

CIS scum.
>>
>>322508826
He was taken as a baby, you muttonhead. He doesn't remember shit.
Lines also imply that other stormtroopers have had incidents of the same like as Finn and most likely were either retrained or killed.
>implying his character is outright bad
This movie had a man that was nothing but a drone try to figure out how life works. He ain't shit now but he's got potential.
>le mary sue meme
And opinion disregarded. Kill yourself.

The fact that they composited and CGI'ed the shit out of everything doesn't mean that they used practical effects.
Also, practical effects don't mean shit if they are bad. The movement of the cyborg beast in TFA is a good example.

*they didn't
