It's actually crackable, it's just that people will not waste 4 weeks finding out the rainbow tables to decrypt a 64-bit VM.
They only patched it so that it's impossible to create a linked "fast emulator" which forces it to decrypt on the fly even if it's not the same CPU.

Denuvo is what drm should have been from the start, keeps pirates from playing while being largely transparent to the legitimate end user. You might have a reason to be upset if it was intrusive and obnoxious (uPlay) or potentially destructive (Starforce, Sony DADC rootkit), but so far the only reasons that arent made up bullshit like 'it kills hdds and ssds!' boil down to 'm-muh unnecessary mods!' or 'it eats a tiny amount of cpu I can only notice by watching cpu-z instead of playing the game!'
Just face it, the only reason you hate Denuvo is because it stops you from playing newer games without paying for them.

The sad thing at the heart of it all is that PC buyfags are wasting their money on very limited use digital licenses. Gabe has made them his bitches. Literally. No consumer rights, no shelf porn. just a steam list.
