I enjoy DR, Ace Attorney and Zero Escape. I think they're all awesome series with their own strengths and weaknesses. I don't understand why everybody has to fight about which series is shit all the time.
At this point does it matter?
The series is finishing off with an anime rather than a game.
I only played the first one on emulator, even though I have the psp. It was just more comfortable this way.
And didn't like it, obviously. The game seems like the hybrid of 999 (murder mystery with twist in a closed building) x Phoenix (the "trials") x Persona (social links). And despite taking the strongest points from each of these franchises it turned each and every of them into absolute shitfest.
The plot was that of the bad anime, "trials" need no explanation and social links were weak.
Well, at least the soundtrack was good.
