I swear only newfags say this to try and sound cool for being "in the know" about the project. Virtually all the concept art and story ideas in KS were created in /a/ threads. To keep the projects going, the team communicated primarily outside of 4chan. However, the writers and devs regularly asked for input in threads. That took place for the very short time span until the game was completed. KS threads were posted in /a/ so often, they became a bannable offense because the hype/spam was unprecedented. The creators of KS were as much of "4channers" as anyone can claim to be. You don't call yourselves "4-leaf studios" and slap a big clover on it to show how much you don't use 4chan.

I can't stand games with an overabundance of dialogue and cutscenes, and even turn-based RPGs are too "static" and text-heavy for me to enjoy, but I enjoyed KS knowing it's pretty much a book with pictures of cute anime grills. The only VN I played was Slave Market or what was it from Illusion. I just read the story, then I got to the pig rape scene, finished what I came to do in the first place and deleted it. VNs are shit, just read a manga if you're that desperate for korean comix books.
