I've been watching it over the last couple weeks. First Stage is a little slow (with bad CGI) but still worth watching, even if Itsuki is fucking annoying. A few episodes into Second Stage and I'm liking it more.
Consquently I've started maining /o/ and watching Top Gear a lot too, and now I want to import pic related since that's legal in Canada now.

It's pretty good if you even have a passing interest in good music, Japanese stuff, cars and nostalgic shit (especially early on since it's an anime made in, and taking place in the 90's). The CGI is pretty fucking bad though at first, but I mean, you can't expect much from a 1998 anime. It gets better through each season. Also note that season 3 is a movie, like, the movie counts as a season and it is solidly in the timeline and canon and needs to be watched.
On a final note, season 5 has a massive slump in the middle, but stick with it. The beginning and end of that season are pretty good, well worth the borefest in the middle. If you're not hype as fuck at the start and end of that season, you aren't human.
