Nah. Going back, 1 had a much better story, inferior gunplay. That would come down to "Le story>gameplay" meme Undertale enforced. But other than gunplay, I find myself loving every other part of gameplay in uncharted 1 over uncharted 3.
Uncharted 1 is absolutely terrible in comparison to 2/3, it felt like a wave shooter with a story. I don't even consider it part of the series, I think of it as a proof of concept pitched in order to get funding for U2

Yeah, they're all kind of Indiana Jonesy in that they seem pretty normal and then some supernatrual element gets introduced in the third act.
At first it was pretty jarring because I didn't know it was coming, but once I realized it was pulp, I was much more okay with it

I hated 1. It was just so fucking bland. It was like all the godamn dude bro shooter bullshit combined with a Sony tech demo. I only beat it because I didn't have anything else for my ps3.
2 was fucking amazing. They didn't do anything innovative, but it was just so well paced. There was always something interesting happening, and always a reason to care.
3 was somewhere in between, but it started to feel soulless and formulated. I honestly never finished it.
I probably won't pay 4.
