Elibe goes to war with Tellius, Elibe wins since Tellius only has one Berserker and he's not very good.
Don't care what's likely, I want Tellius either way. FE 9 and 10 were fucking awesome.

So in theory, Swordmasters, Lancers and Berserkers should be equal by being weapon specialists. How does it work out in practice? I would think Berserkers are better as most mid and late game enemies tend to be lance wielding units like Generals

Out of the classes you mentioned, I'd take a Berserker any day over the other 2.

Yeah usually Berserkers beat out the other similar classes because Axes hit really hard.
Swordmasters have a niche as dodgetanks, Fates steps this up a bit by giving Samurais a dedicated Dodge skill.
Lancers (the few times they've been usable) are pretty solid all-rounders. They're a bit like Heroes.

Neither. No more fucking remakes. The DS games were the reason the franchise got into a mess that Awakening and Fates had to rescue it from in the first place. The franchise is better off moving forward

Tellius would be easy for an HD remaster. I'd definitely play a FE9 with proper hard mode and FE10 with support convos, more endings, more chapters for the Dawn Brigade and non-useless Laguz.

Elibe is more likely but I don't think it's likely either. The DS remakes were made to pander to Japan's nostalgia since new FEs weren't selling at the time, but now that new FEs are selling there isn't much need for more remakes

A FE4 remake would be the most logical. With hard mode, balanced units/maps, remastered soundtrackand improved waifuing, it would probably be the definitive FE game. Or at least one of them.
