The Elder Scrolls Online is actually pretty fun to explore. It's always fun when you go off exploring and find something really neat, or stumble across a forgotten treasure chest under a bridge or something.
A lot of the non-essential NPCs have something to say as well even if they aren't important or don't have a quest for you.
You can find side quests/ dungeons/ bits of lore just by taking some time to explore and not just making a beeline to the next quest marker every time.
Also the game has a great soundtrack and it doesn't look half bad.
Dying Light if you like post-apocalyptic quarantined cities.
I've been playing some arx fatalis recently, pretty good atmosphere and the gameplay is top notch, that dwarf kingdom is pretty spooky the first time you get to it
