osu! is about to hit mainstream
what are your thoughts on it? too hard? too weeaboo?
osu! has been mainstream as "that game twitch streamers play during downtimes"
I've noticed the more mainstream the game gets, more shitty maps become ranked because people want English songs.

The more people play Osu, the more people who might embrace IIDX.

Some of those resemble words, I think.

Face it anon, if they're playing Osu it's because they're too poorfag to get a gud rhythm game.

to get good at osu you need to buy expensive peripherals though
mechanical keyboard
70 dollar tablet
144hz monitor (optional)
Osu was never good.

The keyboard can be justified because it's a keyboard.
A tablet can be justified by some if they actually do art.
A good IIDX controller costs $200+ and can be used for fuckall except rhythm games. Most Osu players are underage and can't convince their parents to drop that kind of money.

Yeah, but those things can be used for things other than that one game and many people have those already.
Plus you can buy them piecemeal as you feel you need them and you don't need to buy them right away. You only make the investment once you reach a level of skill where you feel you need them.
>Still no DS/3DS homebrew port
Who even cares? It's awful playing Ouendan on mouse.
