It's a mix of personal preference and actual effectiveness.
Raptros is a better flier then preytor, and his and togera's flame breath is one of the most devastatng specials in the game, so he's amazing for hit and run stuff. I also just think he's cool.
Ultra-v is a super robo so he's sick.
Robo 47 is goo all around caharacter and his missle is amazing, probably the best special period
Kinectclops I I think is cool and his special has good range and good damage.
Toger is godzilla with fucking baraka blades and shit, so he's rad as fuck, and his flame breath melts people up close.
Preytor can fly, but is average in every other way with slow climb speeds. Special is good tough.
Congar is limited due to his special being super short, but unlike raptros or togera's, it doesn't do a gargantuan amount of damage,, and it knocks them back, and he sucks at a distance.
Magmo's special is god tierr but he sucks otherwise. Agamo is meh and his special while damaging is hard to use, both are lame IMO.
Zorgulon is just shit, period.
