Undertale is light with some dark in it. LISA is dark with some light in it. Undertale used shmup mechanics for dodging, while LISA is strictly Earthbound-esque RPG.

Undertale is a gateway game of the worst kind. It's a bad game, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the game itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.
However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for aspie, unsociable underageb& faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The superpowered characters all trying their hardest to look cool, the skeletons, peculiar, colorful clothes, the whole pacifist faggotry and everything about the Undertale world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on friendship, and overall preachiness of the game make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes little kiddies and underageb& retards eat this shit right the fuck up.
Undertale is basically THE game to attract the most hated video game fanbase known to /v/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this game and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Undertale threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.

I want to play through and enjoy this game but the weird stuttery camera thing when the map scrolls is awful
haven't found a way to fix it
So when does LISA start getting good? I've tried playing twice, got the old guy party member, then gave up because the battle system and the bland atmosphere bores me to tears. Does it change for the better at all? I could care less for the story if the game play isn't fun.

The gameplay is arguably the weakest part while the story is the strongest, so if you are playing for the combat, you won't see much excitement until after you kill your first Joy Mutant, which would be the one in the snake grass field. There are some interesting fights in mid-late game, but if you don't know what you're doing, it's an awful slog.

Glad it's not my actual desktop, other games don't really do it as far as I've noticed, and I'm not alone with getting the scroll stutter but I kinda wish there was an obvious fix.
