I hit a bunch of soft caps and I don't really know what I should be doing with my souls at this point. Advice?

I was using this character to help my friend through most of the game so I ended up dying a lot to save him. I just beat Shrine of Amana

To 40? I guess, seems like a waste
>>322377471
i don't think you understood the question
why are you having problems deciding how to improve your build when you're already set for ng+
how are you not done yet
>>322377973
I guess the question is, should I continue leveling (leaning towards no) or just beat the dlc / head to ng+?
>>322378131
finish the DLCs first, find some interesting weapons/armor and do some fashion souls pvp
ng+ isn't worth another playthrough

Ng+ has some interesting shit.
New items spawn and there are enemies in new places.

get INT and FAI up to 20 each for the elemental defenses. You've only got 30 in each at the moment (compared to your 113 physical defense) and with 20 INT/FAI I think it goes up to 150 each or something like that. That puts you at SL 152 which is a pretty decent level to be.

Haven't beaten any of the DLC's so I'll give it a shot, thanks anon

Thanks for the advice, didn't even think of resistances honestly.
40/40 str dex is a waste, just meet the minimum requirement for the weapon then pump vgr/vit/end/
20 for those stats are ridiculously low. you can never have enough vgr vit and end
get 20/20 int/faith for decent elemental defenses (they actually work as opposed to physical defense) and a few attunement slots for support spells like slowfall, repair, light, some other random non-offensive "quality of life" improving shit

never felt like the difference was big enough to warrant a second playthrough
the falconeers at the start of ng+ were a welcome addition, the rest of the game just seems to be more or less the same
opinions are opinions after all

no worries
