I like Mario
I used to see no potential in Link. One day I had a friend over who likes to play as Roy, and I randomly selected Link. We did probably about 20 Roy Vs. Link and I won most of them. I gradually started playing with him more and more and now he's my favorite.
I also used to prefer Mario over Dr. Mario. Mario is probably objectively better (I believe he's higher on the tier list, for what it's worth) but something about Dr. Mario drew me in and I enjoy playing as him more for some reason. I think it's because I definitely prefer Dr. Mario's down special over FLUDD, as well as having more kill moves.
Ness is OP as fuck, at least in my opinion, due to easy combos and a decent variety of good kill moves. Used to be my main but I found myself winning too much against my friends in person, and I didn't wanna be "that guy" so I quit playing as him. Call me a scrub but I don't care. It gets old and boring, doing the same combos all the time and it can't be fun for the people who keep getting stuck in these combos.
Mega Man and Cloud are just plain fun as fuck. I really enjoy Mega Man because if you can master one of the more tactical characters who others see no potential in, that is a good way to rack up wins. It is frustrating to people when their mains get beat by someone like Mega Man, Mr. Game & Watch, Palutena, etc.
Sorry for the blog post but who really gives a shit. This is an everybody posts nobody reads or responds thread anyway.

I generally agree, especially when people start judging based on what skins / outfit they choose. Those threads are some of the most autistic shit the Smash community has ever seen. However, there can be accurate generalizations about how a character plays, but this is countered by one simple thing - Why would you expect someone to not take advantage of their character's strengths? So a statement like "he is so campy" may be accurate, but if they're playing as a campy character then what else did you expect? Are they supposed to approach you as a campy character and not properly play as that character, so you can win? That's basically asking them to make it easier for you.

Statements like these on the other hand mean nothing. If someone keeps picking ZSS because she's a good character, and they're good at playing as her, saying you're a "waifufag" because you keep getting your ass kicked means nothing and is just a rationalization for losing.
