Didn't necessarily expect it to be shit, but I came in looking for an experience similar to Demon's Souls. What I got was entirely different, but I loved every second of it.
The only gripe I have is thatI had broken my launch day 3DS playing it. The lesson here is don't fight Duramboros with a souls sensibility, kids. You'll be walled for 2 weeks with a broken R button and a circle pad that threatens to fall apart if you're too rough with it.

Dying Light. Jesus christ what a surprise that was. Its got all the traits that says its run of the mill shit; zombies, free running, no-mark studio, similar game that was terrible. I only got it yesterday, played around 12 hours and only really just finished the tutorial and got to the next area.
It feels like it's going to be a long game, it is difficult however I'd recommend researching a build guide to go from but after that you're sorted, that or just make a char, see where you sorta go wrong and reroll, it's what I did.
All in all I'm having fun, it feels like Fallout 1/2 but much better.

God damn though, "Insane" mode or "Chaos" or whatever the fuck it is called-- the hardest mode is a straight mess balance wise. The secret battle with that mage knight-esque bastard at the end took 2 to 3 hours for me.

I cannot say I remember playing Tomb Raider 2 for the PSX, but I picked it up thinking that maybe it will be bad, but it was quite enjoyable. The story is ridiculous and the QTEs are a mess and take away from the action, but the animations and environments were awesome and collecting things was fun. The bow and arrow is the only fun weapon though. At least weapons had a use beyond killing though.
