>>322355356
He owned an amusement park that wasn't up safety standards, as a result the ferris wheel broke apart with riders on it killing people. He was arrested but charges were dropped or he was found not guilty or some shit and went into bankruptcy. As a result of this he let a drug kingpin use his park to cook drugs for some money. The father of one of the dead kids at the park hired hitman to revenge his son.
>>
>>322355356
He also let an opiate production operate on his premises. His wife's divorce lawyer is kidnapped and set on fire if you don't kill or knock out the guard. He's hardly innocent, just pathetic and weak.

The only truly innocent Hitman target is that detective from the Rotterdam case in Contracts

This.
He let the tiny amount of power he got from his income get the better of him.
He cut corners on park maintenance and, as a result, the Ferris Wheel malfunctioned and killed a lot of people.
One father of a victim did not take this well and "placed an order."

Some of his last words would make him appear sorry for the way he handled the situation, but really he's only sorry his money and power were stripped from him.
He deserved to die.
>>
Is he the least "evil" guy you assassinate in a Hitman game? Most targets are usually psychopaths or rapists, but this guy never intentionally harmed anyone.

While I did enjoy stalking around the 7th and 8th floor murdering guards and gamblers for sport, the actually hits in that mission were disappointing. Especially if you just get in the elevator and strangle two of them with no risk at the start
>>
>>322357414
There's just something about having to carry briefcases, that make you feel like a true professional from an espionage film.
>>
>>322357692

>>
>>322359763
The problem I have with A New Life is that it's too easy. You can finish it in less than a minute with the SA rating if you know what you're doing.

The way they hid the microfilm was pretty clever, though.
>>
>>322360356
Same applies to every level in Hitman and the casino one.

Hell, if you know what you're doing, you can just kill 2 out of the 3 targets with the fiber wire elevator trick.
>>
Did the following ever take place or was it my imagination.
I'm not sure what level but it was in Hitman 2, 3 or 4.
You walked down a hallway and died. I'm sure it was something like the mental hospital in Hitman 3 (the first level) or maybe the clinic in Hitman Blood Money.

IIRC, it was on the PS2 version. I'm pretty sure I either opened a door or else was approaching one with metal bars. The metal bars was the "door". Like a cell with bars but the length of a hallway.

Or am I just imagining it?
>>
>>322360356
>You can finish it in under a minute if you know what you're doing
Well Hitman is kind of a puzzle game - once you know the solution each mission can be speedrun very quickly and easily.
>>
>>322360784
I'm not sure, I think it's the jacuzzi/snow level from blood money, you open a door and there's a female assassin, it triggers a cutscene where you kills you

There was a lab/asylum in contracts and there was a corridor with jail-cell like bars at the end. If that's it I'm pretty sure it's just a glitch. It's the first level of the game so you could maybe watch the first 5 minutes of a playthrough on youtube and find out
>>
>>322362780
I'm positive it was that or else the clinic in Blood Money (third mission I think, where you rescue the agent).

It was odd. The game kinda... like went black a bit ,white screen and I died. I figured it was always a glitch and it definitely was a hallway leading to a dead end like with metal bars (celling to floor height).

I tried to play Contracts after this but I couldn't understand how you were supposed to stealth in that game. One thing that /v/ refuses to admit is that controls have generally gotten better as time has gone on. Even games considered classic by /v/ have awful controls by modern standards.

Absolution has almost perfect controls, except the removal of the old drop down menus means you're limited to 3 interactions with environment at any given time. They should stop copying Splinter Cell and keep what made Blood Money good.
