The whole concept of friends seems weird to me (as stupid as that sounds). I could spend hours talking to someone online, specially crafting structured sentences to engineer the perfect relationship and organise an ideal make belief scenario, but in an IRL situation, say I've spent hours talking to them online but they have no idea who I really am, I could introduce myself and stumble at the first hurdle, ruining a potentially great relationship and they'd never like to talk again. That was actually the first thing I considered. I thought it over as much as I could and the only thing I could think of that was actually different now is that one of our mutual friends that we all had a falling out withhe stole a lot of money from us and had problems with taking responsibility for his actions so we cut him outwas slowly coming back into the group. I didn't hate him anymore, my friends never really hated him to begin with but they just didn't want him around. He started coming back into the group and it feels sort like I'm being replaced. One of my friends, who I guess you could say was the main guy since we'd hang at his house mostly, was always much close with this guy.
The biggest thing for me recently was Christmas. This was when I realised things. On Christmas, I kinda a made plans with a friend. We'll call him Motthew to preserve his anonymity. It was more, "Hey man, you should come to town since we both aren't doing anything for Christmas." He said, "Nah, I'm actually busy with Caitlynn so I can't but I'll call you if I come to town." Long story short, I see on Facebook that they are all drinking at friend's house for Christmas and I try to call to see if I can come over but they ignore it (you can tell by the beep) and my friend said his phone wasn't working by Facebook status so I turn up and see them through the window and music is playing and they're loud and I knock on the front door and it goes quiet until I leave, then I come back and it is loud again. Maybe I'm just paranoid.
