If the localized version has no Japanese options, it deserves to fail everywhere. I can't imagine anyone who would even want this game in the west would want to hear those songs badly adapted to English.
On one hand, it's Fire Emblem, which has recently offered both, but on the other, it's Atlus, and the game was developed by Atlus, so I don't have high hopes.

I borrowed it from a friend.
I dont really recommend it to buy it for the single player, however the multiplayer is fun, but gets old too fast so its not worth buying it for that either. If Devil's Third released on PC/Xbox of PS, it would had better sales.
At least Devil's Third had ambition. FE idol tried to pander otakus but failed at the end of the day. Not even otakus want this shit and I dont see westerns buying this thing either.

Devil's Third didnt have ambition when they planned the game for the Wii U.
FE# is a crappy game that didnt know where to focus. They had the SME fans and FE fans. They could've made a good crossover but they decided to focus on idol themes and they fuck it up.
Gotta say, if I had to choose between DT and FE#, I would defitively steal DT from my local store over FE#
