That beeing sad this doesn't work as well for videogames, as a bad game can be literally unplayable, whereas a movie, no matter how bad can always be watched (but maybe not understood).

Nothing. The Room of videogames needs to be a relatively high budget passion project of a complete nutter who controls pretty much all aspects of the production. On top of that it needs to have the insane entertainment value that The Room has. If there really was a "The Room" of videogames, it would be obvious and it would be adored.

Yeah, films and vidya really differ innthst regard. Watching a shitty film is at worst boring and can be surprisingly funny, but playing a shit game feels like torture considering the fact that you actually have to handle that shit with your own hands and usually for such a long time too.
I personally don't care about lets plays in any other case, but I feel that they are the best way to experience stuff like Action 52 or Ride to Hell: Retribution.
