What is the best version of Final Fantasy 7 to play?
I've never tried it before but I saw the steam version on sale.

PS4. It has strange hitching problems though whenever it loads effects on the pre-rendered backdrops.
PC is technically better but has a shitty sign-up and cloud save thing which can't be opted out of.
Is this game decent for emulation?

Controller support is also wonky. No XInput support so Xbox triggers don't register and you can't use analog input.

Just emulate the original on ps1 or play the psclassics version on psp/3/vita
