but also, you can't let games live up to the same standards of Literature.
Even the best game in terms of story (Silent Hill 2 imo) isn't as good as books like Moby Dick or Ulysses or even Hamlet, simply because games are focused in other things as a medium, like gameplay and visuals (which SH2 does a remarkably good job).
So, yes games will neve be as good a other medius to tell their stories.
