Spent a good part on yesterday's new year night doing a blind full marathon of Gauntlet with 2 other friends in couch co-op. A game I would never have paid 20€ for but was one of many PS+ "freebies" that I thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn't have played otherwise.
It's shitty and unexcusable to have to pay to play online, but on the other hand there hasn't been one year where I regretted my 40€/year investment, in "free" games and discounts alone.

Well, Persona and Yakuza series are definitely good, but Persona 5, Yakuza 5 (only PS3) and Yakuza 0 are present on PS3 too. Tekken also will be on Xbox One, you forgot new Ace Combat which exclusive for PS4 as I understand. Ofcourse I wait for every new Gran Turismo. But other games in this list not so good even they are so popular. Multiplatform games are better most of times than exclusives.

This lineup is looking pretty cool, actually. I own everything and really it comes down to price/convenience for gaming now. I thought I'd use my Xbone a lot more than my PS4, but the opposite ended up happening. Got more multiplats on PS4 too since I could easily upgrade the HDD.
Now, I'm not trying to start drama, but I really am serious when I ask what's the Xbone lineup for this year? Does someone have a pic like this they can post? Or am I asking in the wrong neighborhood?

Yes but your console is a downgrade to the PC, so he chose the PC. He may not have gone for the 6000 dollar PC because it's too expensive. If he wants to play games of a certain level of quality, he will need to have better performance than the console, and he does.

Either say you don't care at all or provide as response as to why the ps4 provides the 60fps experience (it doesn't. One game doesn't show that.) The reason that no console users give a shit is because they can't have it.
My two cents: PC is the technically superior platform. And that doesn't really matter that much to me, but it does to some. Fair enough. What matters to some is playing with other people, and if your friends own PS4's, you'd be dumb to by anything else. What matters to me is the games, and I prefer the selection on PC, but I also enjoy the massive range of other benefits that buying (or building) and PC brings, so for me, it was the logical option. For anyone else, maybe it isn't.

Waiting for them to actually come out. and let's not forget, 2015 was also supposed to be a big year for the PS4 and the only thing that came out of it was Bloodborne(besides indies and AAA multiplats for the PS2-2 apologists), who's to say Horizon: Zero Dawn or TLG don't wound up like The Order: 1886?
