So i just purchased this game since gamestop has it on sale new for $9.99. Did I just waste ten dollars or was it worth the money?
I am aware that it's short and I do enjoy cinematic games as well as real games. Interactive movies are an acceptable form of entertainment, is this one worth the same price or less of a blu-ray?

Now I need help in exchange, I really want to justify buying a PS4, but what other good console games are there except for bloodborne? I always played stuff like dorf fort, xcom and character action games on PC and every game on the PS4 seems to lack difficulty, and when I ask somewhere they just recommend me some half developed japanese indie game with 40 metacritic score.

It's definitely worth $10. I bought it used and returned it the next day because it was so short and there's no replay value at all. Great graphics and visual presentation. The gameplay feels exactly like a game from 2005. The story has some amazing potential, but is totally glossed over and choppy.
I think it could have been a fantastic game with more innovative gameplay mechanics and a mission-based system instead of a linear progression.
I know they won't, but I hold onto the hope that they'll reuse some of the assets and universe to create a proper sequel/prequel with more involved gameplay and fleshed-out story.

It's okay. The only thing the game has going for it is graphics and it does a pretty good job at that. Although they're kind of cheating with the 21:9 aspect ratio.
Gunplay gets boring after a while and the story is pants on head retarded when they were trying to make it a big selling point too.

It's unfortunate that the setting and engine were wasted on bog-standard TPS segments straight outta 2006; the attention to detail with the game engine and art direction would have made for a great exploration/horror/puzzle game, especially with the ability to look at things closely and examine things using the analog sticks.
A bunch of wasted potential, but for a few bucks it's like an alright movie.

I only payed 3 bucks since I got it off the red box. I'd say it's worth $10, the setting it's mildly interesting, but the gameplay is laughable. Combat feels tacked on, and ultimately serves as glorified filler.
It has some nice easy trophies if you're into that sort of stuff.
Villain actually uses the line "we're not so different you and I." it's worth $0

1)forced walking when its completely stupid to do so.
2) not just QTEs, not just too many QTEs, but BADLY done QTEs.
