The issue with Falcom is that defense reduces damage by a flat amount, meaning that more hits = more affected by defense. If you're low level and/or playing on a harder difficulty then it means that her attacks are going to lose a huge amount of damage due to the enemy's defense.
I'm playing through right now and the gameplay is so boring. Every boss is "attack person with the most hp then attack the person with the least hp"

Yeah, difficulty is Neptunia's weakest point, enemies and bosses are going to use always the same moves over and over again, no more strategy then "Use a tank with high VIT/MEN, use boosters and spam EXE drives while keeping Compa away from enemy AoE spamming healing skills" is needed
