If your going to play a final fantasy tatics game you should proably play the first one on playstation that ones just better in everyway. although i still like the advance games. This one has a pretty intresting story where none of the characters are completely in the right anf are fighting for their own personal gain even the protag. the gameplays pretty good and the class system is alright but its nothing to brag about. The game is also fairly short for a srpg. This a good game but i wouldnt say its a must play. Its also really easy.
tl:dr its a good game not but theres far better. Like tatics ogre.

I can't. Mewt, Ritz and Donad were just ignorant children willing to throw away their old lives as well as turning innocent humans into monsters just for a few silly reasons. The only one who had a somewhat good reason for wanting to stay in Ivalice was Donad and even then trying to kill your brother because "i dont wanna be crippled" is awful

That and the fact that if the world is allowed to continue existing as Ivalice, everyone in it will die because it's draining their life force.
Though I can't remember if marche ever realized that while he was doing his thing or if it was just when the queen told him at the end of the game.
