Mario Galaxy was so good.
I feel really bad for the people that didn't get into it.
I wish we could get a game with as much love as Galaxy, but with the gameplay of Sunshine. I loved howfluidMario was, and all the crazy jumps and moves and shit you could do.
While Galaxy's presentation is fucking god tier, Mario moves a little slow and stiff.
Seriously, when is Nintendo gonna get off their asses and stop playing it safe?
I want a new game that has feels fresh and takes risks. I'm gonna give up hope when Nintendo announces 3D World 2 as the next 3D Mario game.

Sunshine definitely had the best maneuverability. Triple jumps, dive hops, spin jumps, wall kicks and back-flips all day long. Just running and jumping around was a ton of fun. Would love to see that kind of control return, especially with presentation like Galaxy.
Also, people who say the camera sucked in Sunshine are crazy. Or maybe they don't know the C-stick exists.
The last game that I truly fell head over heels in love with was Bayonetta in 2009.
Truly one of the greatest pure action games ever made. It's a masterpiece.
It's definitely up there with Devil May Cry 3 and Ninja Gaiden 2 as the greatest 3rd person action games ever made.

it was late-2015, i put 110 hours into this game across about 2 1/2 weeks.
This was the last time I played a game that I had to finish before and could not play anything else in the mean time. Luckily I had broken steel so that shit ending didn't happen to me
Dark Souls is the last one I can remember feeling the urge to immediately replay.
Now near the end of 2 and I just want it over with.
Will Bloodborne bring back the good feels?

Yeah for real though. Undertale was the first time I got completely swept up in an RPG in quite a while
Had it on PS3. Got every trophy and played through 3x. The whole world was just so beautiful and alive to me - way more so than any GTA.
Was so sad when I went back to play some online recently and saw it plagued by hackers.
Special mention to Persona 4 Golden. The only great game on Vita and one that really surprised me by how much it pulled me in.
