It gets really repetitive and boring. I played maybe 5 hours then gave up. The story was uninteresting, the moves were simple, the enemies barely ever attacked.
On the other hand I had tons of fun with Dragon's Dogma on the PS3 and plan to play it again when it comes out on PC.

I played DW8 for 150 hours though. The enemies were at least surrounding you, and attacked you if you did nothing.
In DQH they just do whatever they want and barely pay any attention to you, making it way harder to get kills quickly, it's really annoying.

I love Dragon Quest, but I used to absolutely hate musou in the PS2 era and haven't tried any since, which is why I have to ask. Kinda sounds like I should just play Dragon's Dogma.
