Actually on second thought pure robes are best at least later on. Good ones can be upgraded in workbenches to be more defensive. Wearing the force-allowing-armor will still restrict your dex bonus and restrict your wisdom modifier. The armor is OK if you have very little dex, though I feel like having high dex is going to pay for itself because it gives you more defense so wearing a robe would be just as good for defense I imagine.

You don't necessarily have to play 1 to get 2, but 2 spends a lot of time analyzing Star Wars through the lens of what happened in 1. That said, the game is also remarkably willing to have characters, even your MC, talk about things you the player wouldn't know about yet. So it would fit the tone.
I'd recommend playing both myself. 1 then 2.

No. With pure strength you don't need finesse. Though you'll also want some dex and constitution (or was it endurance) for defense and HP.
Your high strength means your chance to hit is pretty decent even with 2 weapons. Still max 2 weapon fighting soon and start dual wielding vibroblades until you get some lightsabers. Then get 2 full length sabers and mod them with the right crystals for maximum damage using master speed + flurry to attack. That's 5 attacks per round I think.
If this is KOTOR 2, your capacity to wreck with lightsabers will be insane because of additional modding slots. If it's KOTOR 1 then it's still decent.

Weird build. Should've done even numbers on dex and con. 14 and 15 points gives you the exact same bonus from that stat. You can either wear items that give +stats (like +1 dex) if you want to balance your modifiers, commit actual levelup stats to even them out but lack strength as a result, or accept your did a nonideal build and just focus on strength, not caring about balancing your dex and con bonuses.
It's OK in terms of combat. Will be strong. Won't wreck completely unless KOTOR 2 in which case you can easily make up for it in lightsaber enhancements.

Theres a couple good spots for Bao, best spot is the speeder on Nar Shaddah, can get about 2-3 influence gains from there alone. There's also a couple other spots on that planet to get gains.
If handmaiden is shooing you off you fucked up and did all of visas' dialogue influence gains, which turned handmaiden into a jealous bitch, good job.
I honestly like KOTOR 2 over KOTOR if only because the customization is infinitely better. Like in terms of weapons, armour, feats and the fact that blasters aren't garbage.

Three, after you get HK-47 and trigger the mission via his dialogue. You should trigger a cutscene in the Ebon Hawk after it's done.

You need to encounter them 3 times, provided HK has brought up tracking them before hand. HK may need to be in the party im not positive on that one. Anyways once that's done itll be an event that happens at end-game. Just be sure HK is leveled/has equips to make the ride a smooth one. And no, the planet is almost entirely fanmade, using tiny scraps of leftover lines, not recommended at all

Soldiers get 1 skill up and 1 for every level of int. So if you're going soldier you're fucked, since you'll need 14 int and the feat to make repair a class skill afaik. If you went Conseuler and Scoundrel? in KOTOR 1 you get repair, awareness, and perusade as class skills and 2 skill points+1 for every + in int so you would only need 12 int to max out your repair, perusasde and awareness

It's because defense isn't valued high enough. In wow before WOTLK, if you parried a blow your next strike would have haste and occur faster as a natural way you would counter after the parry.
In actuality, defense just gives you a +3 attack and +3 defense in kotor, but you lose out on an entire blade of damage at the cost of only -2 chance to hit on the offhand. which is negated if its balanced? However, your offhand blade also can get upgrades which will make it vastly better and counteract the downsides.

From what I could tell, pazaak in 2 was balanced except for when you play that Ithorian on Dantooine for his armor parts. The preceding games for credits seemed fine, but across many playthroughs I get consistently stuck on that last game for a while.

That's always been a huge issue to me.
In Kotor 1 it's very viable to go Dueling with just 1 lightsaber because there are not a lot of ways to get hit rating or armor in that game.
But in Kotor 2, if you have a good amount of INT and get Fencing Emiters on both of your lightsabers and Dueling Lenses as well, you essentially get +3 Defense and +3 hit on BOTH lightsabers, which is essentially the dueling perk at max level, twice.
In Kotor 2 there is literally (LITERALLY) no fucking reason to go solo lightsaber or Doublebladed Lightsaber. Go 2 lightsabers, all the time. If for some fucking reason your accuracy is low, go 1 Lightsaber 1 Short Lightsaber.
That will reduce your damage per round by about 2-4 but increase your accuracy by 2/2
