I like Mark, I've sent him games in the past, and hope it goes well for him.
He just seems like such a down to earth guy, who genuinely loves games. Plus he grew up playing Atari and Arcade games, so his perspective is very much focused on how immediately fun a game is, vs it's technical merits, story elements, depth, etc. Also no political bullshit, no e-celeb antics, just games.

I'm fine with it. Mark is a nice guy who really deserves a bigger following. What anon here said >>322153321 is all true.
He can't do this forever without viewers and if the few fans that enjoy him wanna see it continue this seems to be the only way.
>eceleb shit
when is mootwo going to make an eceleb board?

he's not fucking joking holy shit
He announced it today in his best games of 2015 video. Just a shame Derek didn't kill himself a few weeks back. Would of been perfect.

>patreon
mark
no
>>322155572
No.
>>322156142
What's the issue?
>>322151856
What? Wasn't Mark hella wealthy?
>>322156530
Maintaining & operating an intergalactic space arcade isn't cheap.
>>322156530
No, he didn't say that Vectoid was hundred's of thousands for nothing.
I honestly like that CGR will be on Patreon. of all the things that are crowdfunded, Mark is a guy I would give a few happy bucks to.
>>322157376
bob ross pls go and stay go
I'll be donating a serious chunk of change. Mark is too legit to quit.
>>322156530
Hardly, few years ago he was probably comfortable,
Who?
>>322158917
They call him DSP. One of the best Let's Players and a former pro gamer/fighting game champion.
>>322159301
Oh cool, I will check out his channel. Thanks
>>322153321
Has he ever reviewed a game you've sent him?
I thought he was ending CGR completely, good to see he's continuingeven though I probably won't donate to his patreon
Compared to other game journos and e-celebs, Mark always seem super genuine and cool. Plus man has an amazing radio voice.
Might just be the first patreon I subscribe to.
CGR is literally the most based thing
Would rather have CGR around instead of the hundreds of garbage modern channels.
>>322156407
Patreon is lower than Kickstarter when it comes to hacks.
he's a nice guy but he's not very articulate in my opinion
>>322160414
Sounds like a case of the OH NOES. Good thing we have you to flail around impotently to expose this issue.
rip derek
>>322153321
I know I'm an idiot, but when you and everyone else send games, does he send them back or doea he keep them?
>>322161881
He keeps them, i think in the page about sending stuff he says this and don't send anything you want back
what exactly does he need the money for?
free games ????
>>322162248
He rents the space office and the space arcade
>>322162197
Man that's a lot of free shit. Valuable free shit.
>>322153321
Are you the Oil Baron that keeps sending him games?
>>322162248
He cant support the show full time and his family while maintaining a full time job.
>>322162408
>space arcade
Does NASA needs that much money?
>>322161881
>>322162197
he has borrowed things before and sent them back after the review. Its just most people actually want to give him free stuff.
ok someone please explain what this means
will I have to subscribe to him or something and pay a monthly fee if I wanna watch his stuff or can I just keep watching it for free on youtube as usual??
>>322163742
theyll be free on youtube, but people who subscribe via patreon may get little bonus stuff, might see the video first, etc.
>>322163842
ok I can live with that
