>still actively using Steam and or PSN
Nintendo and MS have shown to be the only ones worth attaching credit cards to. That's not to say you can't use steam/PSN, but to continue to link your money to PSN or Steam reeks of blind fanboyism.

If you insist on using steam still, AT LEAST use gift cards/steam currency cards.

Why? How quickly you forget how eager Microsoft was to bend you over and fuck you sideways with the XBox One.

I use paypal and never set it to remember the account

I use prepaid visas and steam cards for everything.

What are you talking about? I'm using a debit card that I bought from the store, I put money on it when ever I want and it's not link to any accounts.

I also use the phone verification. Unless they intercept my messages somehow, they are not getting my account.

I use paypal as well and I still lost $73 when steam was hacked

False

False

Jesus Christ False
>no fraud hotline like Sony did to assist people
Nobody has ever lost a cent because of XBL going down
>actually mattered unlike the steam incident
Oh ok, you're just bullshitting.
Well done, you had me going there.

That's OP's point.

Link a single time credit card info has been stolen from a MS hack and I'll show you times sony has closed peoples accounts because they did chargebacks after their account was hacked

Why would you use paypal directly, when paypal has the offer to instantly buy the codes for ms, nintendo and steam funbucks so your account on those platforms will never be attached to your paypal account.
>>
>>322146186
Was it in your steam wallet?
>>
>>322145850
>i have no idea how a refillable card works
>>
>>322145850
You realize that all credit card companies are obliged to refund unauthorized purchases made from your card, right?

I had my card scanned at an airport or something a year ago, and 30,000$ of fraudulent purchases was made. Had it back within a few weeks.

Maybe when you're an adult, you'll understand how the world works.

Link a single time a credit card number has been leaked from Steam while you're at it.

>not transferring money from your bank account to your PayPal wallet, then topping up your Steam/Nintendo/etc. wallet right before you make a purchase

The only thing I have linked to my card is Amazon, since they refuse to use paypal.

News flash kid, if you have your PayPal linked, it's vulnerable.
That's the world we live in.

What you can do is choose what sormurces to trust.
If you honestly still trust steam or PSN, you're asking for it.
>>
>ITT: fanboys trying to defend their stupidity

It's not that big of a problem. I'll just report a fraudulent charge. Paypal almost always sides with the user anyways.

>PSN and Steam have been hacked, and are therefore unsafe.
>Nintendo and MS are therefore safe, eternally.

Don't be stupid...

>>322147589
Nobody has inferred this, but to trust PSN or Steam with your money anymore is beyond ridiculous
>>
>>322147680

Learn how the world works. I'm not trusting Steam with anything.
